Group Therapy

I am a big believer in the power of group therapy. In my experience, it’s one of the most effective—and underrated—tools for recovery and personal growth. Group therapy helps you identify unhelpful patterns and try new ways of relating—with real people, in real time. Many people find group to be one of the most unexpectedly powerful parts of their recovery.

Groups Offered

I currently run two weekly groups via Zoom:

  • Women & Relationships

  • Men’s Recovery

Each group meets for 90 minutes in a supportive, structured space where you can speak honestly, listen actively, and learn from others who get it.

Why Group Therapy Works

Real change happens in relationship with others. Group therapy gives you the chance to see yourself more clearly, shift old patterns, and try new ways of engaging—with support and accountability. People often discover they’re not as alone as they thought—and that realization can be a turning point. Group becomes a space to connect, reflect, and grow alongside others doing the same work. I have seen firsthand how group work accelerates progress in ways that individual therapy sometimes can’t.

Benefits Include:

  • Speaking up with more confidence

  • Practicing emotional honesty and empathy

  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback

  • Reducing isolation and self-blame

  • Building healthy connections

How It Works

Group therapy requires a 12-session commitment, allowing you to build trust and see real progress. Consistent attendance helps everyone get the most out of the experience. You’ll be expected to participate actively and honor the group’s safety and confidentiality agreements.
